Garlic Scapes & Spring Garlic!

Garlic Scapes are the 'flower' stems that grow from hardneck garlic varieties.
When eaten fresh, scapes are crisp & tender with a spicy garlic flavour.
When cooked, scapes resemble the texture of green beans or asparagus,
and offer a more subtle garlic flavour.
Spring Garlic is the immature garlic plant which can be used exactly as you would spring onion. A garlicky garnish that you won't want to be without!
